Rob Clark, Consultant

Image of Rob ClarkeA Project Management Specialist since 1990, Rob Clark brings to Rhema his long and impressive experience of providing Project Management and Project Support Services to both public and private sectors, through involvement with contractor and client organizations at all levels in the UK and overseas.

He is a Member of the Institute of Management Consultants and of the Association for Project Managers, and before going into consultancy he was Head of Project Control for WS Atkins, one of Europe’s largest engineering and management consultancies where he had major input to projects as diverse as Submarine Command and Control systems for the MoD (Ministry of Defence) and international garden festivals.

Rob’s key experience includes project/programme management; business change management; IT project management support services; development of project control and support systems, risk analysis and management; and project management training.

His qualifications embrace Mechanical Engineering and accreditation from the OGC Centre of Excellence in consultancy. His engineering background has been an important factor in his ability to provide consultancy to major organisations within the manufacturing and construction industries. His work has included organisational studies in manufacturing, maintenance project work in the construction and computer systems industries, as well as project management consultancy in Government agencies.

Rob has been engaged in a number of large, multi-disciplinary change programmes within Government. Other recent assignments have included Project and Programme Management consultancy in the new world HQ of Barclays Bank; study and implementation of recommendations for a major IT project in the Department for Communities and Local Government; provision of training to senior managers of global leasing organisation De Lage Landen in Europe, the USA, Australia and Brazil; and programme and project management support for a major change initiative which took local authority staff into OFSTED (Office for Standards in Education).

His long list of clients also includes ICL, the Prudential, Queens University Belfast, South West Water and the National School of Government – where he is currently an Associate Lecturer.

He has also been a visiting lecturer for City University, London.
